Join Cornbelt NAMA on a tour of Diamond V and the Kirkwood Community College Ag department on Thursday, November 1.

Diamond V will be demonstrating some of their technologies in manufacturing, new product development, and animal nutrition research as we tour the headquarters, technical center and learn more about their proprietary DiaMatrix Technology.

Diamond V Mills is the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of fermentation products used to optimize the digestibility of feeds for all types of animals. Diamond V Mills is an American-owned and operated company with products that are manufactured at their headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and used in feeds for dairy, swine, beef, horses, poultry, pets and aquaculture.

The Diamond V family of products consists of yeast, the media on which it is grown and all the nutritional metabolites produced as a result of their proprietary DiaMatrix Technology fermentation process.

10:30 am -- Virtual tour of Diamond V Production Facility
10:50 am -- Travel to Diamond V Tech Center on the Kirkwood campus, Tour Tech Center, Joan Butler, Research Scientist/Tech Center Manager
11:30 -- Lunch, Kirkwood Campus

Following lunch, there will be an optional tour of the Kirkwood Community College Ag Facilities given by Jerry Bolton, Dean of the Ag School. Learn about the college firsthand and hear where its ag program is going.

$15 for members or students; $20 for non-members.
