The objectives of CAMA are to provide a forum to promote and increase the knowledge and exchange of ideas related to agri-marketing, to promote the highest professional standards of agricultural marketing and to promote interest in the various aspects of agri-marketing as a career. There are four chapters across Canada, each with their own mission statement. ALBERTA: CAMA (Alberta) is an Association which promotes and facilitates the increase of knowledge and the exchange of ideas related to agri-marketing. MANITOBA: Promoting excellence in agri-marketing ONTARIO: CAMA (Ontario) is committed to the exploration, exchange and application of agri-marketing ideas that contribute directly to the professional development of our members throughout their careers. SASKATCHEWAN: To be THE Networking organization for all sectors of the agriculture industry in Saskatchewan. Membership in the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association (CAMA) is open to individuals engaged in any aspect of marketing in the field of agriculture. This includes representatives from such fields as advertising agencies, agricultural chemical manufacturers, seed companies, animal health, agricultural media, farm equipment manufacturers, farm product distributors, banks and farm credit agencies, consultants, marketing boards, education, agricultural trade shows, commodity marketing and farm service organizations, market research and any other applicable support service. Membership dues and meeting structure will vary by chapter. |
