Generational Employment Gap

Where: Quarry Oaks, Ashland, NE

When: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Speaker: Melinda Mullenix, Farms.com

Generational Differences
How can you best manage the generations in the workplace? You must first understand their differences. This training is set up to engage attendees with an overview of the four generations currently found in the workplace – Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation Xers and Millennials. With a better understanding for the generational differences, managers and HR professionals can better engage and manage these differences across their organizations.

Melinda Mullenix recently joined Farms.com/AgCareers.com as the human resources services manager. In this role, she divides her time to cover human resources services for Farms.com while dedicating the other part of her time to further expanding AgCareers.com’s HR services. Mullenix has more than nine years of experience in the human resources field, most recently with Wells Fargo as an employee relations consultant. Prior to that, she held a number of roles within the Human Resources team at Pioneer Hi-Bred. She obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Upper Iowa University and a bachelor’s degree in management from Simpson College.
