Join the North Central NAMA Chapter on Monday, May 20, for a unique culinary experience in the Midtown Global Market. The Cooking in the Market class will have you putting on the aprons and creating your own menu from fresh, in-season products in the market! This is also a great opportunity for team building-- so bring a few colleagues.

Cooking the Market is a very fun class and gives the group a lot of interactivity – with no two classes being the same! So even if you have tried it before, it will be a new experience.

The class starts with a champagne cocktail and a local cheese tasting course led by Vicki Potts of Grassroots Gourmet. Then your chef leads a tour of the Midtown Global Market and, in smaller teams, the group will start to create the menu on the fly based on what's fresh and in season, or what the groups may find intriguing in the various ethnic groceries.

After the ingredients are selected, we don aprons and get to work! The groups cook in the kitchen together and then dine family-style afterwards.
