Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Function
Primary responsibility for the initiation
and execution of all marketing, creative, media and research projects
for the client brand.
- Maintain strong, lasting client relationships
based on progress in achieving client's marketing objectives in a
manner that results in a profit to the agency.
- The Account Manager is the Client's
main contact with the agency on a day-to-day basis and is the representative
within the agency for the interests of the client brand.
- Maintain positive morale and sense of
teamwork among staff assigned to your accounts.
Responsibilities
- Development/Execution of ongoing account
management
- Participates in strategic planning sessions
to develop and execute an integrated marketing communication campaign
- Consults with creative, media to communicate
client objectives
- Provides day-to-day work on all of the
client's activities
- Provides overall direction for all client
accounts
- Interfaces with other FC members and
their respective teams to complete new projects
- Manages client budget
- Participates in new business activities
Experience Requirements
- Five to seven years prior Account Management
experience or the equivalent in an advertising agency with a minimum
of 6 years overall business experience required
- Agriculture experience required. Knowledge
of agricultural markets - specifically value crops, cotton and ag
chemicals preferred.
- Business acumen (financial, marketing
and strategic) skills necessary to effectively interface with clients
and strategically position issues, products and brands in the marketplace
- Communications skills (verbal, written
and listening) to interface/present with and to clients
- Interpersonal skills necessary to provide
advertising direction within and outside to agency
- Team skills necessary in accomplishing
agency goals
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Occasional travel and overtime required
