What's Your App? - February 28
Description

As you (and your clients and customers) add smartphones and tablets to your arsenal of tools, finding the right app to fit your needs can be overwhelming. How are other ag marketers reaching their customers through apps? Join the Cornhusker NAMA group as we hear about ag app development from Dan Kuyper, Vice President at agriculture’s leading app developer, iNet Solutions Group. Dan will share trends for integrating apps into ag marketing initiatives and how he helps clients look at their business needs to develop an app that fits.

Understanding that nearly everyone uses apps to get information and updates, a portion of our meeting will be an open conversation between members, where you’ll hear what apps others are using. Come ready to share which apps you use in your personal/professional life and why they’re your favorite.

After the meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to help the student NAMA chapter with their marketing plan. Their product this year is an attachment for a combine corn head that helps minimize kernel shattering and lost ears while harvesting. They’d love your expert opinion!

Dan received his Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and his Masters in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dan has over 15 years of experience designing software for agriculture. He has led the successful design and development of many enterprise level systems and is able to bridge the gap between business needs and technology requirements.
