Corporate Social Responsibility Programs: Best Practices for Finding Common Ground and Enhancing Brand Equity Jeff Winton Agricultural companies must appeal to a diverse range of stakeholders, often making it a challenge to strike the right balance with corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs without diluting brand affinity. In this workshop, corporate communications veteran, entrepreneur, and New York dairy farmer Jeff Winton will share valuable insights and best practices for developing CSR initiatives that align stakeholders around a shared goal and while also enhancing brand equity. He also will discuss key learnings from founding Rural Minds, a nonprofit he launched in 2021 to provide a knowledgeable voice and resource for rural mental health in America.
Jeff Winton is CEO of Jeff Winton Associates, a full-service communications agency, which he founded in February 2020 after a four-decade communications and corporate affairs career with both leading corporations and respected public relations and advertising agencies. This global experience spans highly diverse and dynamic industries, including the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, animal health, agricultural and consumer arenas.
Jeff Winton also is founder and chairman of Rural Minds™, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to serve as the informed voice for mental health in rural America, and to provide mental health information and resources.
In addition, he operates Wall Street Dairy LLC, a working family dairy farm in Chautauqua County, New York, and is a member of a multigenerational farm family.
